Those of you that know me, have heard me brag on my nephew Will Clark, who has won a ton of hardware in wrestling. He has been at it since he was five or six years old. His father, Ken, is a former All American at Campbell University. His mother Sandy is in the Cary High School Hall of Fame for her efforts in basketball and track. Will is a senior this year, and has been working up to the North Carolina State High School Championships this year, with a second consecutive state title as his goal. Nobody works harder at his craft than Will. He has only lost two matches through an illustrious high school career.
His team at Cary has long been considered the team to beat around here winning twenty consecutive regional titles and thirty consecutive conference tournament titles. While they have struggled lately due to several injuries, they finished strong in their conference, and took five wrestlers to the state championship tournament, with two bringing home state titles.
I have been fortunate enough to follow along, with my camera of course, as the team sought to continue their success. Coach Taylor Cummings has been a huge help this season.
